Railway Rubber Pads description

XINGRAIL L2 Continuous Rail Composite Rubber Matting is made of abrasion-, pressure-, oxidation-, UV- and oil-resistant synthetic rubber. The rubber mat is located on the surface of the groove, which ensures close contact between the rail and the ground and reduces the wear of the mat. The pads are embedded in the center of the steel plate to increase the lateral stiffness of the pads. The thickness of the steel plate is very thin, easy to roll up for transportation, the width of the steel plate is proportional to the width of the rubber matting, and the applicable temperature range is -25℃~100℃.

Railway Rubber Pads Parameters

The rubber mat is made of oil-resistant rubber, and its performance conforms to GB/T5574-1994 “Industrial Rubber” standard.

Rubber mat machinery needs to meet the following requirements:

  1. Compound rubber mat steel and rubber bonding stress>1N/mm².
  2. Shore hardness: 75 ° ± A 5 (DIN53505)
  3. Tensile strength: (ASTMD412C) factory 12.5N/mm²^2-aging 10.5N/mm^2
  4. Elongation: 250% ex-factory – 200% aging
  5. Long-term deformation (according to BS903 Part A6) less than 5% ex-factory, aging less than 20
  6. Permissible compression stress: 80N/mm^2=80MPa
  7. Working temperature: -25℃ to 100℃.
  8. Reduction of noise and vibration: average noise reduction of 10% DBA, average vibration reduction of 48%
Railway Rubber Pads Application

XINGRAIL L2 elastic compound rubber mat is slightly convex in the middle of the cross-section, and the force is reasonable. There is a small rectangular convex strip on the top of the mat, which is easy to deform, and not only makes the mat in good contact with the rail, but also increases the elasticity of the mat and plays the role of damping, which is conducive to the normal operation and service life of the crane’s mechanical parts and electrical equipment.
